GBoard - spelling suggestions (Android 14 / API 34): A bug in Qt 6.6.x prevents users from tapping spelling corrections in GBoard. Avoid using GBoard until an upstream fix is available. The default keyboard works as expected.
SwiftKey - multiple emoticons: Adding more than one emoticon at a time via SwiftKey doesn't behave as intended. The default keyboard is recommended for now.
Call Rooms: Call Rooms can stop updating while Polynom is minimized
Bluetooth: While a Bluetooth device is connected, Polynom may set it to Call Mode even outside of Call Rooms until the app is closed
Push Notifications: Push Notifications for Transfers may innacurately display transfer progress or file count
Status/nav bar (Android 14 / API 34): The status and navigation bars are not accounted for when determining the app area, causing some elements to be cut off at the edges. Installing an earlier version of Polynom is recommended until this issue is resolved
Anonymous Mode: Not yet available on Android
Share to Polynom: The Share to Polynom feature is currently not working. Opening Polynom and using the Attachments button to add files to a message is recommended in the meantime
Call Rooms: Call Rooms can stop updating while Polynom is minimized
Bluetooth: While a Bluetooth device is connected, Polynom may set it to Call Mode even outside of Call Rooms until the app is closed

Media View (Save As): Pressing Save As... on the full screen Media View opens the file explorer behind the Media View window, requiring the Media View to be closed before the file explorer can be interacted with
Media View (Attachment positioning): Attachments displayed in the full screen Media View may appear mispositioned
Gnome tray icon: Gnome doesn't show a Polynom tray icon by default. See How do I enable the tray icon on Gnome desktop? in the FAQ for setup instructions
Some minimal Linux distributions are missing the xcb library that Polynom requires, causing a crash on startup. Affected distros include Mint (Cinnamon), Pop!_OS, openSUSE, Kali Linux, Kali Purple, and Kodachi Linux, among others.
Install the appropriate package for your distro and relaunch Polynom:
| Package Manager | Command |
|---|---|
| apt | apt install libxcb-cursor0 |
| zypper | zypper install libxcb-cursor0 |
| dnf | dnf install xcb-util-cursor |
No known universal issues at this time.
