¶ Saved Messages & Sticky Notes
¶ What are Saved Messages?
Saved Messages is a private, encrypted Chat where you are the only participant. Use it to store messages, media, or notes for future reference. Everything you send there is accessible across any device where your Identity is imported.
To open Saved Messages, find it a the top of your Direct Messages list.
¶ What are Sticky Notes?
Sticky Notes are a personal note taking space with support for Social Encryption, making them a good fit for storing sensitive information.
To create a Sticky Note, open the Sticky Notes page at the top of your Channel list and press Create New Note. You will be prompted to choose a Title, and optionally configure the following:
- Image or emoji/glyph - A visual identifier for the note, the same way Channels and Rooms can be assigned one
- Color - A custom color for the note
- Description - A short summary or label for the note
- Social Encryption Key - Encrypts the note with an Social Encryption Key, making its content indecipherable to anyone without it
